• My name on the air is Kenji.
• In Morse Code, my name is KENJI.

My past names on the air

• I was using the name JOE until year 2004 or so for CW only.
• I was using my surname Rikitake on the air for Japanese phone contacts until 2022.

No paper/bureau/qrz.com QSLing

• No paper QSL. (I may request paper QSLs for my own awards.)
• No bureau QSL. JARL is a corrupt organization.
• No qrz.com logfiles. All qrz.com logfiles were deleted on 29-MAR-2022.

• Due to the instability of eQSL.cc service, the contact logs for eQSL.cc will be delayed and less frequent.
• SWL reports will only be accepted via eQSL.cc.

Log policy

• Contacts since 2002 and afterwards are all uploaded to LoTW and Club Log.
• Contacts in 1992 and before will not be confirmed.
• No confirmation will be provided for Russian and Belarusian stations since 24-FEB-2022 and afterwards.
• WSPR transmission and reception logs are not locally archived. Use wspr.rocks, wsprnet.org spot query, and other related database query sites for the details.

No mailing address policy

I got blackmailed by postcards and telephone calls around 1987 from (anonymous) JA hams regarding my series of packet radio articles in Japan's CQ Ham Radio Magazine. Since then I generally mistrust ham radio operators for their possible ignorant behaviors.

There's no longer any need to disclose one's mailing address just for QSLing. So I decided to remove all mailing addresses from public listings.
